Earlier this year, the German-born pop star made history as the first transgender woman in history to win a Grammy Award for best pop duo/group performance, for her collaboration “Unholy” with Sam Smith. The historic moment came just six years after Petras released her first single. The “Coconuts” singer is a true change-maker who uses her platform to uplift and inspire the LGBTQ+ community.
The SI Swimsuit team calls styling Petras an absolute dream. The looks on set played into the star’s essence as a performer with ethereal swimwear captured in soft lighting. Petras was styled in intricate looks that showed her in a more undone light, true to the brand’s nature.
